"A True Relation of the Holy War" is a religious allegory written by John Bunyan, where the fictional city of Mansoul represents the human soul, and the story details the battle between the forces of good (led by Emmanuel, representing Jesus Christ) and the forces of evil (led by Diabolus, representing Satan) for control of Mansoul; ultimately depicting the internal struggle of a believer against temptation and sin, culminating in the eventual triumph of God's grace and redemption.
Diabolus: The personification of Satan, the evil force attempting to conquer Mansoul.
Emmanuel: Representing Jesus Christ, the savior who fights to liberate Mansoul
