We’ll begin by discussing the allure of collecting as a way to connect with the past, exploring the stories that these objects tell, and how they shape our understanding of history. We’ll also delve into the world of historical artifacts, offering practical tips on identifying, sourcing, and caring for items of cultural and historical significance. You’ll explore natural history collections, the world of art, and antiques with a focus on understanding provenance, market value, and collecting for both passion and investment.

 

Throughout this fun “crash-course”, we will cover:

 

Antique Books: Learn how to identify rare editions, first prints, and vintage reproductions that are not only treasures for their historical value but also integral parts of cultural history.
