Description:

We Always welcome beginners! Classes in the Altar Room are a fantastic in-person, sit-down setting to cover questions, discoveries, and direction as you move forward in your path of practice.

Some highlights of what this class will cover: Lewis de Claremont was prevalent during the 1930’s and 1940’s. Who is he and why is there a class about “him”? If you have read any modern-day information on spells, rituals and “secret records”, odds are most of that material came from the writings of Lewis de Claremont. Little is known about the person, but the writings are rich in information. Some say he wrote 30 books; others say he wrote 5. It is very rare that we open antique occult books in classes, however this class will be an exception to the rule. There are currently 3 of his antique books inside the Altar Room, and we will explore details contained in these books. They are full of bold recipes, secrets, how-to, and exact procedures and practices that are from ancient texts.

An excerpt from “The Ancient’s Book of Magic”: “After many years of intensive research into the mysterious and hidden arts of invocation, I have finally compiled this book, which, I feel, will be my greatest book on an art that has long been lost and which, at one time, served to the magician and the occult devotee the office of guardian of the invisible forces.” Key words used in his books are: Sorcery, invocations, composition of a circle, consecration, secrets, materials for rituals, herbs, oils, conjurations and much more.

We will explore the general nature and science of this information as it applies to our modern culture in comparison to how our ancestors used it. Do we really know and fully understand spells and rituals? We will dive into the general history of both and how people have come to understand it, use it, and misuse it. The ways to improve your path by understanding it, and the steps to practices that are understandable, practical, and effective.
